Photo of Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park

I photographed this photo of the amazing Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park in August of 2021. It was a hot summer day at around 100 degrees. The arch is quite beautiful and scary at the same time as there is a sheer drop-off right on the other side. It is perched right at the edge of a cliff.

Mesa Arch in Canyonlands is probably the most popular site to see in the national park. It’s about a 1/2 mile hike to get to it so it’s very doable to see.

This photo is a close-up of the Mesa Arch focussing on the center where you can see out into the canyons.

This photo was photographed with these camera settings:

  • Camera Body: Canon EOS 6D Mark II
  • Shutter Speed: 1/320 seconds
  • Lens Aperature: f/9
  • Focal Length: 24 mm
  • ISO: 125
  • Image Quality: RAW
