I photographed this image of Bryce Canyon at Sunset Point in August of 2021. My family and I took a road trip to this national park as part of a two-week trip. The hike up to this point was through a bunch of steep switch-backs. We hiked from Sunrise Point down into the Bryce Amphitheater and back up the other side to Sunset Point. It took us a few hours to hike, but it was worth it!.

We hiked this trail in the summer so it was near 100 degrees and very hot. I love the bright orange contrast against the deep blue sky in this photo.

This Bryce Canyon Sunset Point photo was photographed with these camera settings:

  • Camera Body: Canon EOS 6D Mark II
  • Shutter Speed: 1/640 seconds
  • Lens Aperature: f/9
  • Focal Length: 24 mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Image Quality: RAW
